ACES of East Aurora Celebrates its 10th Anniversary!
ACES (Aurorans for Climate & Energy Sense) will honor its 10th year of volunteer service to the Greater Aurora Community by hosting a celebration meeting/gathering open to all members and the public. The event will be held at the Mandala School on Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30 pm. The Mandala School is located at 738 Main Street across from the CVS Pharmacy.
We invite all attendees, members and non-members, to bring their ideas and visions. What environmental projects would you like to see ACES address in 2023 and beyond? We invite all our readers to join us for camaraderie, refreshments and conversation. To help us plan our refreshments, please RSVP via our email at: aces.EastAurora@gmail.com.
Meeting events will include a review and celebration of last years accomplishments, including ACES successful BYOC (Bring Your Own Container) campaign in the Village.
To celebrate, ACES will be raffling off a BYOC Basket filled with tumblers for hot drinks or smoothies, BYO containers for take-out, left-overs, bulk food purchases, re-usable flatware and more.
In the same spirit, join us in our New Year’s Resolution for 2023 by signing our Pledge to BYOC when you head out the door for all your errands and shopping. We’ll be giving away a fun and “selfie-ready” certificate to post on your fridge or other favorite “memory” jogger location, as a reminder to always have your BYO Kit ready-to-go in your car, shopping totes, or bike bag. In other words, never leave home without it!
ACES is also excited to announce the launch of our new website this past November. We invite you to read about our latest projects, past accomplishments, new ideas, inspirations, and political action alerts at www.ACESEastAurora.org In addition to the website, you can find us on Facebook and Instagram.
We wish everyone in our community a joyous, healthy, and prosperous 2023. Take care of each other and your own small corner of the Earth. There is no Planet B and our actions do make a difference, no matter how large or small. Old habits can change, new and better ones can be formed. Join us today!
